Amtec Contract is Hiring a Plant Operator Near Crofton, MD
These operators will be responsible for monitoring water system inventory on the local SCADA system, turning pumps on and off to maintain water system inventory on the local SCADA system, and monitoring and dispatching SCADA system alarms to on-call personnel.
The temporary operators will be required to be US Citizens (per our contract with the US Government), work on a U.S. Military Installation (and be able to clear a Base background check, in addition to ours), possess a High School diploma or equivalent, possess an unrestricted driver license for the state of Maryland, pass a pre-employment background screening process, and complete operations orientation duties.
Personnel will operate on a shift schedule alongside ASUS operating staff, reporting failure logs and manual override requirements to the Superintendent during normal duty hours and the on-call staff member during off-duty hours.
